I had a pleasant stay at Aloft Kansas City Country Club Plaza. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made me feel welcome. Although I didn’t expect to pay for parking and the bathroom lacked privacy, these minor issues didn’t overshadow the overall experience.

I stayed in a modern King Room with a great city view. The bed was possibly the most comfortable one I've slept in at a hotel. My only quibble is that there was a stain on the rug.
Service

The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. When I expressed needing a cold shower after a long ride, a staff member promptly assisted me with switching my room to one with a shower. It truly made my stay enjoyable.

The hotel is conveniently located just a block away from Country Club Plaza, making it easy to explore the area, though there was some street construction during my visit.

Breakfast left a bit to be desired, as it felt more like snack foods that I could purchase rather than a full meal. I opted to eat elsewhere, which was a minor drawback.

The available amenities, like welcoming drinks and pet options, added a nice touch to my stay. Overall, I enjoyed the modern vibe and various services offered.

6.6/10

I had a pleasant stay at Aloft Kansas City Country Club Plaza, appreciating the staff's friendliness and the unique vibe of the hotel. The location is a big plus, being just a short walk from the bustling Country Club Plaza. However, I was surprised by the parking fee, and I found the bathroom layout lacking in privacy, which could be an issue for some guests.

The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds I stayed in felt spacious due to its open layout, but the bed was a bit softer than I like. I enjoyed the hearing accessibility features, which made my stay more comfortable.
Service

The staff were incredibly helpful when I got lost, even walking me back to where I needed to go. I loved their friendly attitude and willingness to assist, but they could improve on their local dining recommendations.

The hotel's proximity to Country Club Plaza was fantastic. I could easily walk to various shops and dining options, plus attractions like the Nelson Atkins Museum are just a short stroll away.
Dining

While the hotel lacked a sit-down restaurant, the bar had great options. I enjoyed some fish tacos and wings, which were well-priced and tasty. Just make sure to order snacks at the front desk as there are limited options.
Facilities

The amenities are quite basic, resembling a stylized motel, which is fine for the price but lacked some comforts. We were welcome with a drink, and they had pet amenities available, which is a nice touch.

I had a decent stay at Aloft Kansas City Country Club Plaza. The location stole the show, being just a short walk from all the shopping and dining options, including the Nelson Atkins Museum. However, the hotel itself lacks some basic amenities and the room layout could be a bit awkward. Overall, it was a good experience, but there's definitely room for improvement.

My King Room felt spacious due to the open layout, though I found the bed a bit too soft for my taste. The shower could use more power, but it was clean and modern. However, the privacy in the bathroom area left a lot to be desired.
Service

The staff was friendly, but I didn't find them very helpful with local recommendations. It would have been nice to get some solid tips on dining or cultural attractions in Kansas City.
Location

The location is fantastic! Just a few blocks from Country Club Plaza, where I found plenty of restaurants and shops to explore. It was also close to the art museum, which I loved visiting.
Dining

The breakfast options were limited, displayed on a monitor and ordered at the front desk. While I didn't mind stepping out for better coffee, it could be inconvenient during extreme weather.
Facilities

The hotel offered some entertainment options like a pool table and cornhole, but there was no swimming pool. It felt a bit like a stylized motel when it came to amenities.

My stay at Aloft Kansas City Country Club Plaza was generally positive. The location near the Country Club Plaza was a major plus, making it easy to explore. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast options and found the water pressure in the shower quite low.

My stay at Aloft Kansas City Country Club Plaza was mixed. The location is amazing, just a short walk from Country Club Plaza with tons of dining and shopping options. However, the hotel didn't have a sit-down restaurant, and the breakfast selection was limited and not satisfying. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there were definitely some drawbacks worth mentioning.

The breakfast option was a letdown. I ended up not eating anything substantial because the bagels we got from the store were so dry. They really need to step up their breakfast game.

The hotel has a contemporary feel, but I wasn't thrilled about the parking fees. Also, the bar hours seemed limited, as it closed too early for a Friday night.
